Erica Braunshausen

Erica Braunshausen was diagnosed with an eating disorder at the age of 15. After navigating early treatment experiences that left her feeling misunderstood and uninvested in recovery, she was fortunate to find care that changed the course of her life. Under the compassionate guidance of Dr. Maria Rago and Dr. Steven Prinz, Erica experienced the kind of support that fostered true healing, rooted in respect, trust, and unwavering belief in her recovery. They helped her find her voice again, and they honored what she had to say.

More than 20 years later, Erica remains deeply grateful for the profound impact these two clinicians have had on her life. She is honored to share her story alongside two of the most kindhearted and skilled professionals she has ever known.
